Wilma Lowe

Wilma Burleson Lowe passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.  Wilma was born on March 27, 1933, to the late William Oscar and Bertha Forbes Burleson in Johnson City, TN.  She attended Happy Valley High School and worked for several years before her marriage.  Since that time Wilma has been a resident of Oak Ridge where she was a member of Oliver Springs First Baptist Church and was employed by a local department store for several years.  Wilma is remembered by family as a wonderful cook, and a loving wife and mother.

Wilma is preceded in death by husband, George Lowe; Sister, Thelma Massey; Brothers, Clarence and James Burleson.

She is survived by son, David Scott Lowe of Oak Ridge; Brother, Bob Burleson of Ringgold, GA; Sisters, Shirley B. Gross of Asheville, NC and Phyllis B. Shreve of Roanoke, VA; Wilma is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
