In Loving Memory of William Roy White, Jr.
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of William Roy White, Jr., who entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 1, 2025, at the age of 63.
Born on October 29, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, William was the beloved son of the late William Roy White, Sr. and Del Venia Epps. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend – cherished by all who knew him for his warmth, generous spirit, and infectious sense of humor.
William has a gift for bringing joy and laughter into the lives of others. His presence left a lasting impression, and he will be remembered for his unwavering kindness and passion for life. A loyal sports enthusiast, he especially loved cheering for the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Julie; his son, Jonathan White; his sisters, Glenda Harrington (Hal), Janet Boender (Dave), Kathy Bell, Kim Martin (Wendell), and Dellenia Vinifera; and his beloved grandchildren, Luke, Ilijah, and Faith Laugherty, as well as Alaina and RJ Phillips.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Del; and his three daughters, Amanda Carole Smith, Lauren White, and Jennifer White.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Luke Laugherty, whose love and companionship brought William immense comfort during his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
