William Battle Fellers

April 27, 1953 - January 19, 2026

William Battle Fellers, age 72, of Clinton, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 19, 2026. He was born on April 27, 1953, in Oak Ridge, TN, to parents Henry and Jessie Fellers. Bill graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1971 and then earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1976. He went on to work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as an electrician for 32 years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Bill married Deborah Wilson in 1978 and was a devoted husband for 47 years. He was a loving father to his two daughters, Jessica and Hillary, and was later blessed with a grandson, Will. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling to new places together. Bill was an avid car enthusiast and could often be found detailing cars or attending car shows on the weekends.

He is preceded in death by parents, Henry and Jessie Fellers, and brother, John Fellers. Bill is survived by his wife, Deborah Fellers of Clinton, TN; daughter, Jessica Fellers of Clinton, TN; daughter, Hillary Fellers of Knoxville, TN; and grandson, Will. Survivors also include his brother, Henry Fellers, and his sister, Mary Lou Yoder.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Mott-McKamey Funeral Home in Oak Ridge, TN. Funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
