Willie "Will" "2Dub" N. Williams, Jr., 34 passed away February 12, 2017. Will was born on June 30, 1982 in Jacksonville, NC to Yvonne and Willie Williams, Sr. Will was preceded in death by his "Ma" Olivia Brown and "Daddy" Arthur Brown, Sr. He is survived by 3 brothers DeVon Williams and life partner JenniferCox of Oak Ridge. Christopher Williams and wife Carine of Woodbridge, VA., and Kenneth Brown and wife Trish of Oak Ridge. One sister Shalmaria Spruill and husband Ahmad of Atlanta, GA. 5 nephews Zaheir, Malaki, Ba-Ra, Eli, and Kolbe. 3 Nieces Avamaria, Ila, Ka-Ra. A slew of Uncles, Aunts, cousins, extended family, and close friends.
Will was a member of the Oak Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church, and a true man of God.
Will was an inspired musician. His music was a window to his soul. He was happiest on stage with a mic in his hand. He had a love for all people no matter what race, religious affiliation, or worldly status, and brought joy wherever he went. Will had a heart of gold, and was a selfless giver. Will could often be found helping those in need without question. If you needed a laugh or smile, he was the person to turn to.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Martin's funeral home in Oak Ridge, TN. Receiving of friends will be held Friday February 17, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral will follow at 7pm.
