Vanessa Mabry, of Claxton, Tennessee, passed away on the morning of December 22, 2025, at her residence in Georgia.

Vanessa lived a life rooted in compassion, understanding, and kindness. Her life told a real story—one written with perseverance and honesty. She carried her burdens faithfully, remained true to who she was, and left a lasting impact on all she touched. The memories she leaves behind are God’s gifts. She was a source of warmth, loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.

She was preceded in death by her father, Riley Wilkerson Jr.; her stepfather, Leon Jones; and her nephew, Jeff Wilkerson Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Loretta Wilkerson Jones; siblings, Jeff and Melissa Wilkerson, and Tony and Ebony Moore; daughters, Jadaisha Thomas, Toni Thomas, and Destiny Mabry; grandchildren, Jaizya, Raleigh, Kyrie, Royal, and Kali; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, dear friends; and her soulmate, Dexter Mabry.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 10, 2026 between the hours of 11:00am - 1:00pm, with a funeral service at 1:00pm at Haven Chapel Methodist Church 220 Raccoon Valley Rd. Powell, TN 37849.
