Valerie Lenderman

Valerie Jean Lenderman age 68 of Clinton, Tennessee is in the care of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Valerie passed away September 17, 2019 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was born May 13, 1951 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to J.E. and Wanda Jean Cheek. Valerie was of the Baptist faith and loved singing praises to her savior with her family. During her lifetime she spent 30 years doing floral design, and enjoyed visiting the mountains, but her biggest joy in life were her grandchildren and spending time with them. Valerie was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Jean Cheek, and brother-in-law Ronnie Jeffers. She is survived by her husband, James E. Lenderman, father J. E. Cheek, children, Brad Lenderman and wife Cristy, Jeanna Bernard and husband Shane, grandchildren, Shelby Miller and husband Logan, Brooklynn Sellers and husband Austin, Austin Bernard, sister, Kim Jeffers and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 pm Friday September 20, 2019 in the Chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with a funeral service at 7 pm.
