Susan Powers

Susan Kay Larabee Powers, age 61, of Oak Ridge passed away Monday December 7, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.Susan was born October 5, 1954 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Willis O. Larabee and Hazel Crossno. Susan was a 1972 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She was an amazing woman who brought love and happiness into the lives of all who knew her. She was an avid University of Tennessee football fan, loved playing Bingo, but most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren brought her the most joy.Susan is survived by her husband Gary Powers, children; Crystal, Jack, James, Kayla, and Joshua, grandchildren; Brianna, Haley, Caitlin, Isaiah, Ayden, Austen, and Landon, sister Wilma McMeans, brothers; Jessie, Tracy, and Jimmy Larabee, and several friends.Funeral services will be held Thursday December 10, 2015 7:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev, Daniel Myers officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Friday December 11, 2015 11:00am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
