Susan Carroll

Susan L. Carroll age 59 is in the care of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Susan passed away November 1, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born May 14, 1959 in West Lafayette, Indiana to Steven and Carol Schrock. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Environmental Science and worked many years as a Sr. Lab Technician for Oak Ridge National Laboratory until her retirement. During her life she enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her grand children as well as reading and working puzzles. Susan was preceded in death by her parents Steven and Carol Schrock. She is survived by her son; Joshua Bergman, daughter; Katie Bergman Fischer and son-in-law Daniel Fischer. Step daughter; Andi Kilgore. Grandchildren; Evan Bergman and Aiden Bergman (Josh's sons) Arya Fischer (Katie and Daniels daughter) Riley Fischer (Katie and Daniels son) Also survived by her sisters; Julie Branson and Terri Osley, brother; Danny Schrock and two nieces and two nephews. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday November 6, 2018 from 5-7pm at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7pm officiated by Rev. Martin Fischer.
