Shirley Jean Gee, 76, of Knoxville, TN (formerly of Rockford, IL) departed this world to sing with the angels on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at the Bridge of Rockwood.
She was born October 27, 1937 in New Albany, Mississippi to Raymond Hill and Onanzo Bernice Rainey. Shirley enjoyed, walking, singing, and gardening.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Janet Hill, brothers Raymond Oneal. Allan Hill. Bobby Hill, grandson Wayne Garrett, and husband Henry Gee she is survived by sons Roger, Gregory, Randy, and Bobby Gee, daughter Vicky Gee, sister Linda Brown, brothers Willie, Robert, and Jerry Hill, and several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 30, 2014 7:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home 101 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
