Ruth Marie Tripp, age 92, passed away Friday May 25, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of Oak Ridge.
Ruth was born December 10, 1919 in Wyandotte, MI to the late Charlie and Caroline Gibson. She was of the Methodist faith moved to Oak Ridge in 1941. Ruth was employed for many years at the Nettie Lee Shop.
Preceded in death by her husband Hubert Vestal Tripp, Sr., three brothers and two sisters she is survived by her son Hubert V. Tripp, Jr. and his wife Mary of Oliver Springs, sister Phyllis Edenbuurn of St. Petersburg, FL, grandchildren Joey and Terri, and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Ruth's wishes she was cremated and private family services were held. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to NHC Healthcare Christmas Fund 360 Laboratory Rd. Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
