Mary Morgan

Mary Stella Morgan, age 87, resident of Clinton, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born and raised in East Ridge, TN. and Salutatorian of her senior class at Kirkman Highschool. She met her husband in East Ridge and moved to Oak Ridge, TN. She worked at Y-12 from 1954-1957, X10 from 1957-1962 and K25 from 1963 until her retirement in 1995. Mary and her husband owned and operated Morgan's greenhouse for 40 years supplying orchids to local florists. She was a member of the National and local Orchid societies. After retirement she enjoyed traveling abroad with her husband and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Watson French and Homer Daniel French, brothers: Harley French and Homer French.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, James (Jim) Lee Morgan Jr., Her only son, Rusty Morgan , his wife Sheri, Granddaughter: Stephanie Campbell and her husband Charles, Grandson: Lee Morgan, great grand daughters: Morgan Campbell and Kaitlyn Campbell Sister: Betty Foster of GA and several special nieces and nephews, and a special thank you to her caregiver for over a year Jan Walker.
Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday October 02, 2019 at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home.
