Loy Price of Pittman Center, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at the age of 89.
Born on September 17, 1936, Loy lived a life marked by faith, family, and friends. He had a deep devotion to the Pittman Center community. A lifelong resident of Sevier County, Loy was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and steady presence.
Whether working in his woodshop, or sharing stories on the front porch, his life touched many, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His love for the Smoky Mountains ran deep, and he found joy in the simple beauty of creation and the rhythms of small-town life.
Loy’s life was marked by integrity, hard work, and a steadfast faith that guided him through every season. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the lives he touched – neighbors, friends, and loved ones who found comfort in his presence and inspiration in his example.
He is preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed him home, and he leaves behind a family who will carry his memory forward with gratitude and love. Loy was a man of faith and was a member of Hills Creek Baptist Church.
A private service will be held by the family to honor his life and legacy.
