Layton Levonne Carroll

Layton Levonne Carroll age 49, of Oak Ridge, TN went home to be with the Lord early Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Most people knew him simply as Von. He was kind. He was gentle. He always had a smile for any person he met.

Von cherished his 4 daughters and made sure to show them how much they were loved every single day. He absolutely adored his grandsons and beamed with pride every time he saw their faces.

He was preceded in death by his loving father, Layton Carroll, as well as his grandparents: Tillman & Elizabeth Carroll and Odas & Wanda C. Lowe.

He is survived by his daughters: Heaven, Morgan, Lexie, and Elizabeth. His sons in law: Kris, Allen, and Skylar. His grandsons: Buford, Bryson, Kenny & Lincoln. As well as his beloved mommy Dessie Lowe, aunt and uncle: Darline & Mike Loy, his sisters: Jennifer and Belinda, and his brothers: Scotty, Travis and Kevin and also Christina and Tyler.

Services will be held at Mott-McKamey funeral home on Tuesday October 7, 2025. Receiving of friends will begin at noon with a funeral service beginning at 1pm and led by Pastor Bobby Metcalf. 

Von has been a lifelong Tennessee Volunteer fan. We would like to honor him by asking you to attend in his team colors.
