Lawrence Annunziata Sr.

April 7, 1936 — January 24, 2015

Lawrence Vincent Annunziata, Sr., lovingly known to all as "Vinnie" passed away Saturday January 24, 2014.
Vinnie was a devoted husband and best friend to his wife of almost 51 years Vivian. His greatest love besides his wife were his five grandchildren Jessica, Erica, Sophia, Olivia, Michael Gabriel, and his only child Lawrence Jr. and his wife Cindy all of Oak Ridge. He is also survived by his beloved Brother Joe Warren Annunziata loving known to him as "Bo" and his sweet wife Laura of Long Island, NY, dear sisters; Anita, Rosemarie, and Teresa. Known to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews as "Uncle Vinnie" all were cherished by him and he spoke often of them all. One though held a special place deep in his heart that he lovingly called "Little Warren". Warren and his dear wife Heidi and their three grown children reside in Long Island, NY. Lawrence also had brother and sister-in-law Sonny and Jesse Matteson of Florida, Wally and Darlene Matteson, Bob and Mary Rhodes, Willy and Francis Silva, John Matteson :Uncle John", all their children, and to many friends to call by name. He also held dear his daughter-in-laws family George and Judy Anderson, Tara Wilhelmson and children Nicholas "Nick", Ashley, and Megan, Jose and Bridgette Martinez and children Christina "Nina", Andrew, and Matthew of Norwalk, CA, Jennifer Anderson and son J'zrael "PeeWee" of Oak Ridge. He was preceded in death by his father Warren Annunziata of Pennsylvania, his mother and step-father Rose and Pete Lombardo, brothers Anthony Caruso, Joseph "JoJo" Lombardo, and brother-in-law Angelo Menna all of New York.
The family will receive friends Thursday January 29, 2015 5:00 to 7:00pm at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with a memorial service following with Pastor Garvin Walls officiating.
Vinnie was greatly loved by all and will be missed more than words can express. We will hold the time we were given with him and all of his stories and jokes close to our hearts until we are with him again.
