Kenny Lynn Cook

Kenny Lynn Cook, age 72, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 11, 2023 following a long illness.  Kenny was born on March 13, 1951, in Alton, Illinois to Cecil and Delma Cook.  The family moved to Oak Ridge, where Kenny grew up.  Kenny served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force, working as an aircraft mechanic, and was a Vietnam Veteran.  After his service, Kenny worked for various companies in the Oak Ridge area.

 

Kenny was preceded in death by father, Cecil Cook; mother, Delma Cook; and brother, Jimmy Cook.  Survivors include brother, Wendall Cook (Gale); sister, Sharon Jordan (Larry); and nieces and nephews Yvonne Cook Williams, Kendall Cook, Lisa Jordan Mulig (Ron), and Craig Jordan.

 

The family would like to thank Kenny’s dear friends, Steve Donahue, Kathy, Janet, and Larry, for their support and friendship during Kenny’s time of need. 

 

Funeral services were held at 1 pm, Friday, July 14, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, with Pastor Mark Kitts officiating.
