Kate Melvin Stephenson, age 93, of Sweetwater, formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019. Predeceased by husband, Hubert J. (Steve) Stephenson and grandson, Matthew Mason. Survived by sister, Frenchie Murphy, Port Neches, TX; children, Susan Lynn, Sweetwater, TN; Etta Mason, Nashville, TN; Ellen Hans, Columbus, OH; and Phillip Stephenson, Jupiter, FL; granddaughters, Amy Gann, Maryville, TN; Natalie Robertson, Jupiter, FL; and Sarah Hans, Columbus, OH; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lily, and Chase Gann and Eliza, Henry, and Sam Robertson. Service will be private with burial in Oak Ridge Memorial Park
