Jeffrey Obituary

Jeffery Louis Ginsburg, age 64, born April 27, 1950 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee died Saturday October 18, 2014.
Jeff graduated from Oak Ridge High School Class of 1968 and obtained a BS in Human Resources from Tusculum College. He was a former business owner, city councilman, and President of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce. His recent professional work was spent in Human Resources where he was Vice President of Human Resources for LeGacy Resource Corp. He also served as President of the Tennessee Valley Human Resources Association, was on the Tennessee State HR Association Council and was past president of the Oak Ridge HR Association. He was recently awarded the ESGR Ombudsman of the Year for his work with the Army National Guard and Reserve. His greatest joy was playing guitar in the Boys Night Out Band for over 30 years.
Preceded in death by his parents Mary and Marty Ginsburg Jeff is survived by much loved son, Michael Ross Ginsburg; sisters- Sarah Milford and her husband Bob, Laura Floyd and her husband Frank; brothers- Alan and Steve. Nieces and nephews- Andy Milford (Stephanie and son Zachary), Rachel Milford, Josh Ginsburg, David Floyd, Elizabeth Floyd and Jeff's loving friend Jacque Ayers.
A memorial service will be held Sunday October 26, 2014 2:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home also a Celebration of Life Service, currently being planned, will be announced thru social media as soon as possible.
