Jeff Gibson age 59 of Johnson City, Tennessee died on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

He was born on May 26, 1965 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Jeff graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1983 and joined the United States Air Force in 1984. He was trained as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic. He served in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Korea, and finished his service in Homestead, Florida.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father George Leroy Gibson; his mother Evelyn Moyer Gibson; his grandparents A.L. and Ann EllisGibson and Lloyd C. and Lillian Masoner Moyer; and his aunt Helen Ann Moyer Norris.

Survivors include his daughter Ashley (Danny) Martinez of Lakeland, Florida; his brother Joey(Susan) Gibson of Paducah, Kentucky; his granddaughter Alena Varela of Lakeland, Florida; his nieces Megan (Cody) Draffen and Emma Gibson both of Paducah, Kentucky; and grand-niece Evelyn Draffen of Paducah, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Mott-McKamey Funeral Home in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Interment will be on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Spring City Memorial Gardens, Spring City, Tennessee.
