Elizabeth Turner

Elizabeth Ann Turner (Libby) passed away peacefully on March 5, 2021 at her home in Oak Ridge, TN. She was born in Tazewell, Virginia to Frank Daughtry and Friel Brown. The family moved to Richland, West Virginia where Libby grew up, then moved to Solway before the dam was built. Libby graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1951 and began working for her father at West Knox Utility where she worked until retirement. In her free time, she loved going to and selling at the flea market.

Elizabeth Turner is preceded in death by her husband, James Turner, her parents Frank and Friel Daughtry, and her sister Patsy Pennington.
She is survived by her two sons James J Turner (Marie) and Frank E. Turner, brother Jimmy Daughtry, grandchildren Michael, Jimmy, Timothy, Cheyanne, Cy, and C.J., three great grandchildren, A.J., Taylor Kayden, nieces Lisa Chambers and Patti Pennington.
The Memorial Service for Elizabeth Turner will be on Saturday, March 13, 2021, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am and the Memorial Service at 12:00 pm.
Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
