Clyde Obituary

Clyde V. Jenner, age 89, of Oak Ridge passed away Saturday January 14, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center. He was born in Norwood, NY June 19, 1922 to parents Carroll W. and Teresa Sheehan Jenner. Clyde was a veteran of WWII having served in the Philippines and Japan. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a member of American Institute of Industrial Engineers. He was a retiree of USDA and a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mark and Robert Jenner, and sisters Claire Dockum and Madge Stever. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Hilda Telitha Allen Jenner, one son Joe of Plano, TX, three daughters Cathy Weinman (Lynn) of Vienna, VA., Diane Jenner Lamp (Danny) and Annette Hansen (Tom) of Knoxville, two grandsons Harley Wilson (Chanda) and Dylan Jenner, and five granddaughters Wendy Hill (Robert), Gretchen Jenner, Jennifer White (Andrew), Tori Lamp, and Isabella Hansen, two great grandsons Chase and Jacob Hill, brother Carroll Jenner (Jane) and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17 from 5 - 7 pm followed by a funeral service at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Family graveside service will follow on Wednesday at 11 am at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Jacksboro, TN.
