She was born March 6, 1932 in Harriman Tennessee to Lon and Lona Adkisson. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Lon and Lona Adkisson, husband; McKay Phillips, sons; James D. King and William H. King. She is survived by her sons; Rickie T. King, John L. King and Lonnie G. King., brothers; Bill Adkisson and Wilburn Adkisson.
Visitation with the family will be from 9-11am Thursday March 30, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 11am. Interment following the funeral service at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee.
