Barbara Palomino

Barbara Carrol Palomino, age 55, of Oak Ridge passed away Thursday March 19, 2015 at her home.
Barbara was born March 23, 1959 in Hazard, Kentucky to Thomas H. and Lela Wells Howard. She attended school in Lexington, Kentucky and moved to Oak Ridge in 2004. Barbara was a homemaker and attended the Oliver Springs Church of Christ. She loved to listen to music, garden, and taking care of her pets Milo and Abby.
Preceded in death by her father Thomas H. Howard, husband Bill Palomino, sister Juanita Cheryl Howard Cromer, and grandparents Isaac and Mary Howard and Jason and Annie Wells. Barbara is survived by her children Lela Michelle Palomino and Thomas Adrian Palomino both of Oak Ridge, mother Lela Howard of Oliver Springs, sister Patricia Howard and her husband Steve Ahler of Lexington, Kentucky, brother Thomas Howard Jr. and his wife Laurie of Coshocton, Ohio, sister Sherry Marlow and her husband James of Oliver Springs, and brother Jason Howard of Oliver Springs, and several aunts, uncles cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 28, 6:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Holt officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the funeral home.
