Allie T. Stinson, age 104, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday May 9, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Oak Ridge.
Allie was born April 29, 1910 in Cullman, AL and moved to Oak Ridge in 1943. She was a member of New York Avenue Church of Christ. Allie enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her church family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lee Stinson and daughter Carolyn Dean Underwood. Allie is survived by three children; Alan Stinson of Gallatin, TN, Ann McClain of Clinton, Tennessee, and Betty Hurt Smith and her husband Tom of Oak Ridge, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grand children.
A funeral service will be held Monday May 12, 2014 1:00pm at New York Avenue Church of Christ with Harold Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00pm at the church.
